South Derbyshire District Council has been awarded the nationally recognised Customer Service Excellence (CSE) Standard, recognising its commitment to delivering consistent, high-quality services for residents.
The assessment, led by accredited assessor Richard Adkins, highlighted strong performance across customer insight, service delivery, and continuous improvement — showing that customer-focused practices are not only in place, but embedded across the organisation.
This recognition provides independent assurance that the council is listening to its community, responding effectively, and continually improving the services it delivers.
